I'm looking for a module that can be used to track employee time and/or projects. Something like a user is assigned a task and then they can enter how much time they have spent on it and when they completed.

I looked through the modules section and didn't see anything that looked like what I need. Any one have any suggestions?

Have you looked at http://drupal.org/project/storm

I can't say I've used it myself though but it looks cool ;)

This might work, it looks like it has a lot of extras that I dont need like the invoice system. I'll look into this one more! Thanks.

Personally, I spent I think a-lot of time investigating in trying to find out a Time Tracking module for employees, from Monitoring the activities, automatically tracking time on Tasks, to filling their time sheets, and collaboration softwares. I have tried Storm, I tried developing custom modules in drupal as well, I tried other things like Active Collab, and some others that I do not remember the names of. I also have worked on a very sophisticated yet easy time tracking software for tasks and projects which I liked the best.

If you're in any case, still looking for this software, contact me in a private message at waqar @ 4acetech.com or through drupal's contact form for me, and we can discuss what features you're looking for and I can advice if there's something already available, or if you're interested, we can perhaps develop something of a similar nature that would benefit us and the community as well.
