Hiding some Taxonomy terms?

I have many taxonomy terms defined for my nodes, however, I do not want my users to be able to see all of them along with the node. I want to use some taxonomy vocabulary only for creating views, that's why the question.

Is this possible?

I was hoping someone would help me with this. Maybe I didnt explain myself properly.

When I add to a content type, I also add the taxonomy terms that that node will be linked with. However, I don't want all the taxonomy terms associated with a node to show up on the node's page.

The reason is I have views using taxonomy terms, and I don't want to show those taxonomy terms along with any node.
Someone please help
