When I've ticked 'Email me about replies to this comment.' option and save and edit again, this option is still unticked.

I didn't see any problem in my system. Please try to recreate the same step and check whether you still have the problem and let me know about it.

I have same problem.
Drupal 6.10, Comment Subscribe 6.x-1.2: i need to re-check this option every time i edit node.

It has been decided to merge Comment Subscribe module with the Comment Notify module as both currently have the same set of functionalities. We have stopped our support here and will be providing our support at the Comment Notify issue queue. To help you seamlessly migrate to Comment Notify, we have provided an easy migration pathway using the last update - 6.x-1.4.
