Hi
I am developing a website that will sell spaces on a training course. Each training course is comprised of several different modules which I have set up as subproducts.
So users can select to purchase "All modules", "Module A only" or "Module B only".
How can I set up my inventory control so that a purchase of any product removes stock from the master product inventory? If someone selects "Module A only", I want a stock item removed for all the subproducts.
Thanks
Glenn

Clarify your terms
First of all, you should get clear on what you are doing. You are selling spaces on a course but each time someone buys a module you want to remove a stock item from subproducts??? Write out a coherent story first, then make a list of all the terms you use in the story and write a definition (course -- a course is a ...., module -- a module is a ...). Now draw a diagram to clarify the relationships between the terms (a course contains one or more modules, etc).
Now you are ready to start some serious projectmanagement.
