Can't get this to work at all in 6.9 using Content Profile 6.x-1.x-dev, CCK 6.x-2.x-dev, Panels alpha3 and latest dev versions of APK.

Have tried with jQuery Impromptu 1.2 and 1.8 (properly named to jquery_impromptu.js!) and both release and dev versions of CCK Field Privacy - it just doesn't do anything... not a theme thing either; not a sign of life in Garland. Marking this critical because... it doesn't seem to work at all!

I am stumped - any ideas?

The problem is fields within fieldsets - as I believe has been documented elsewhere, "digging down" into a group to address individual fields can be dependent on the data structure of other modules.

In short, at the moment, it looks like you can have individual (ungrouped) fields, or groups - not both. I've decided to use the "group" behavior for my current project.

Thanks to Brian for all the work he's doing on this - hope this post saves somebody some time!

Per our conversation, this is a duplicate of #350899: Padlocks not displaying in fieldgroups, as the issue was the fields being in fieldgroups rather than Drupal 6.9.
