Description
I have a user that has been given a role with the following persmissions checked:
- access announcements
- create announcements
- edit announcements
When the user tries to create a new announcement (Create Content > Announcement) or
http://site_url/node/add/announcements, it shows:
Access denied
You are not authorized to access this page.
Are there any additional permissions needed?
Only the admin user (user/1) is able to create announcements.

I'm not sure how the menu got messed up, but I committed a fix for it. You will need to clear your menu cache after downloading the new -dev version.

I tried the new -dev version and can now see the Create Announcement page now, but the form is incomplete ... it ends at the body. Doesnt show the node admin options and no submit button. I also had some custom CCK fields that don't show up... Form is useless as there is no way to submit it.

this fix doesnt seem available in the dev release yet ... i checked and still get the problem mentioned http://drupal.org/node/360492#comment-1207909. is the fix supposed to be in 5.x-1.x-dev released on 2009-Jan-19? doesnt seem to be there...
