Description

Hi.

Nice Module.

I have a few questions:
- I really would like to be able to enter an email address, which is also fully compatible with hCard (< div >Email: < span class="email">bla@bla.com)
- I am not very familiar with longitude and latitude settings, how do I check if I filled them correctly?
- What do the longitude and latitude settings do for me? I can not figure it out.
- I would like to be able to show or not show certain "fields". In TheNetherlands, and most other countries that are not the USA, it is not very common to show the state. Unfortunatly this is a mandatory setting in your Module, and it can not be turned off.
- It would be nice to be able to alter what information(fields) is shown to the users, and it what order, how the fields are separated etc.
This could be very easily be set up. create a "tag" for each field, say h1 to h15 (same as with the i tags). Then the user has to enter what tags to show on the first line, and be able to add another line, etc.

I hope you understand what I mean with all this.

grtz,
Twan

In response to your questions:

Yes, an email field could be useful. In general, though, I'm not in favor of posting email addresses on a site itself. Rather, I prefer to use the contact form in order to avoid spam. Even still, it might be nice to have it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Longitude and latitude values should be entered as decimal degrees, like -121.35369. The module includes a function to convert them to degrees and decimal minutes. The easiest way to determine the correct longitude and latitude point is to use Google Earth.

The default css has the longitude/latitude tags hidden because, usually, it's not necessary to display them. However, local search engines will use those points to help identify proximity in search results. Therefore, it's useful to enter. The default css is easy to override if you do actually want to display the values.

I'm sure I didn't make this module quite as flexible for the international community as it could be. I built this to suit my particular needs. Your recommendations are helpful, though, and if you feel like submitting a patch, I would be more than happy to review it and incorporate it.

Thanks!

Hi Shawn.

I am not capable of programming any code what so ever.

I would be able to provide you with testing capabilities or with suggestions.

grtz,
Twan
