Hi everyone,

I should start by saying that I'm new to Drupal. But I have an idea for a website and I'm looking for people to help work on it with me. If I am way off in where I should be posting, guidance is appreciated.

It's better if I link to my site as is rather than explain what I'm trying to do. Please head over to http://www.pheigan.com. Note: This is NOT the final front end. Just a proof of concept.

I basically want to have users upload several images, the module would categorize them together into a unique folder with a common filename , and other people could link to the images from their website. i.e. there would be a file1, file2 and file3 in the UNIQUE folder as well as the UNIQUE2 folder.

The final application would be Google Adwords enhancement. It's not too complicated, but I'm not a programmer by trade.

I think this is a really cool concept and I hope I attract some of the Drupal community's (positive) attention. Let me know what you think.

Thanks and best regards, pal'er

Not too sure what you want but it sounds like a kind of flickr: your site www.pheigan.com didn't exactly clarify it for me. And, no, I wasn't tempted to click on any of the google ads displayed there.

I guess a flickr clone is a good way to start.

The main point of the website is that you can show or hide the ads, or at least put out a background. The only relevant link you should click is the 'gallery' link.

Where would you recommend I go about finding people to help me on this? site names or forums would be helpful.

why i, or other user, need/want to use your flickr clone, instead of the flickr?

Openid instead of yahoo account access could be used.
There's one reason.

If your'e happy using flickr, There isn't much point in trying to slam someone that wants to expand the concept in their own way.

flicker is great but it's not to everyone's taste.

The idea is to use the uploaded images on other sites.

The images would make up the background to a google ad block, which I would reference in a CSS file. There would be 3 images: a head, a side, and a foot. They would all have constant proportions/size, so as to be interchangeable.

So long as I can references the images on MY site (from someone else's site) using a unique path, I'm happy. The path would probably look something like this:

pheigan.com/USER/ALBUM/file1.png,
pheigan.com/USER/ALBUM/file2.png,
pheigan.com/USER/ALBUM/file3.png

I suppose it's a flickr where you WANT people to reference your photos.
