The buttons on the FCKeditor are vague, impossible to decipher and therefor unusable. I've added screenshots to show what I mean, for Safari and Firefox (both Mac).

wwalc commentedAre you sure that all files have been uploaded successfully? If you're using the default skin, compare the size of
wysiwyg/fckeditor/editor/skins/default/fck_strip.gif
and fck_strip.gif on your computer.
Is it possible that this file is truncated or that you have uploaded it in ASCII mode?
This file changes between various releases of FCKeditor (5067 bytes in 2.6.3, 5175 bytes in 2.6.4b), so make sure you have there the correct file, clear browser's cache and it should work.
