Bornfree or equivalent for Drupal 5 ?

Hi,

I really like the look and feel of bornfree and galleria, and i'd like to implement it on my website. The problem is, i installed on my website Drupal 5.19 (because many modules i needed were not available for drupal 6). I tried (we never know ;-) ) to make bornfree work with drupal 5.19 but it didn't work :-(
I suppose there won't be a Drupal 5 compatible version ?
Can you advise another image module (intended for only one user (admin) to make a quality gallery like bornfree ?
