I am trying to create a checklist form for an intranet site that I am building and I need help understanding how to structure the content of the form with CCK.
The checklist is going to be big (over 100 entries on the form). Each entry in the form will have 3 fields, a non editable text field (the checklist question), a status field (selector: approved, not-approved), and a comment field (text field to elaborate on why something is not approved). Entries will need to be grouped in categories (all checklist entries that deal with a certain topic). The entire checklist needs to be grouped into different phases (i.e. preliminary, final).
A hierarchical outline of the form structure would look like this:
- Checklist Form
- Checklist Phase
- Phase - Radio Button: Preliminary, Final
- Group 1
- Checklist entry 1
- Check list item 1 - This is static text
- Comment 1 - Text alied in text field
- Approval Status 1 - Radio buttons for approved, not approved
- Checklist entry 2
- Check list item 2 - This is static text
- Comment 2 - Text alied in text field
- Approval Status 2 - Radio buttons for approved, not approved
- Checklist entry 1
- Group 2
- Checklist entry 3
- Check list item 3 - This is static text
- Comment 3 - Text alied in text field
- Approval Status 3 - Radio buttons for approved, not approved
- Checklist entry 4
- Check list item 4 - This is static text
- Comment 4 - Text alied in text field
- Approval Status 4 - Radio buttons for approved, not approved
- Checklist entry 3
- Group 1
- Phase - Radio Button: Preliminary, Final
- Checklist Phase
I need help understanding how to link the content of each of the elements of a checklist entry together so that they are associated. Is CCK able to create this level of association and if so how do I go about it.
Thanks in advance.
