In reference to #338090: /admin/content/node settings don´t work with weight module and #342836: After installing Weight module all nodes are sticky.

Do nodes have to be sticky to work with Weights?

If yes, then when you run Db Setup Enable/Disable, it should set the stickiness as well. If not, then the current implementation is correct and we should just fix the fact that all new nodes are being set to sticky as they are created if Weights are enabled for that content type.

No, they do not have to be sticky. I believe #356335: Changing weight from contentpage doesn't work; throws httpRequest error has fixed this.
