why don't you start by submitting a patch for one of the existing bugs?

one suggestion, however. when submitting a patch, make sure you've only modified the lines that are relevant to the bug. it's best to keep bug fixes as efficient as possible so they are easier to test and review.

any ticket which i have not assigned to myself already is fair game. to be safe, leave a comment on a ticket when you're going to try to tackle it so that we don't duplicate efforts.
