Outgoing message

given the trend that sites like Myspace facebook and others have set .... I would be great if you could set an out going message. although a js popup would work, I like the modal look that popular 2.0 sites are using.

Ideas...
Integration with thickbox or the popups API
ability to set the title and message of the modal on the module administration page.
