I gave up trying to install the 'Event Repeat' Module which is beta in CVS tree.

What is the right way to show an event that lasts for a period, for example from 2. January 2006 till 22. January 2006, so that it shows up just one time in the calendar and not on every day till the end of the period?

Which fields do I have to edit? So far the only possibility I know of is to edit the start-field and the end-field for the beginning and to hide the document in 'scheduling' at the end of the period. Is there a better way?
