Every time I try to create a new user at my website I get the following error:

Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in ....sites/all/modules/location/location.module on line 527

This only began after my upgrade to 3.0. Does anyone have a fix for this?

FYI - I know it is not a good solution, but I commented out the if statement on that line (and subsequent lines) and it fixed the problem

I started getting this error when I enable the usernode.
