Add a filter to data['og_uid']['groups'] which shows all the user's subscribed groups when exposed.

Description

I´ve installed Organic Groups module, and it works ok with this module, but if I want people that belongs to several groups to have a select list as a filter in the calendar page view, it shows ALL groups, even the ones that this user doesn´t belong to.

I know there exists OG Calendar, but that module works with event module exclusively, and with CCK, Calendar and Views I think I shouldn´t need another module to create events.

I don´t know if this post is more appropiate in OG issues queue... I thought this was the better place because it refers to the calendar view, and the filter is the one that seems to be not working.

Thanks!

I´ve tried the instructions:

1. In your view, add the relationship "Organic groups: Group node (post)"
2. In your view, add the filter "Organic groups: Group member". Use the relationship you just added, and check the "user is logged in" checkbox.

But when I want a filtered view, with an exposed filter, showing just the user´s groups, the list shows every single group in the site.
It is true that user´s may select other groups that they aren´t members of, but no event will show up, but I don´t whant people to see what other groups are in the site.
All groups are closed and private...

That is an OG filter, calendar has nothing to do with what the OG filter displays in its drop down list.

Group member simply cannot do what you request.

I see. Thank you Moshe for your reply.

I think it should, because it´s just logical that if I want an exposed filter by group, it should appear only member´s groups and not all groups in the site.

Thanks for keeping this as a feature request :)

I'd love to see this feature implemented as well. Like Rosamunda, all groups on our site are private and it would be fabulous if the exposed group filter only displayed groups that the user has access to.

It seems that this post didn´t have any activity since a couple of months... too bad.
