i have installed the latest 6.dev ecommerce over drupal 6.6 - i just noticed that now, when i attempt to create page content or newsletter (simplenews) i get a page with nothing on it but:

Product type listing
You are not allowed to create products.

apparently ecommerce has stolen the hook for creating pages?

this was a result of setting "always" a product on the page and newsletter content creation types...
