I am trying to build a website and struggling with image display on front page/ home page.
I am using 6.9 and my requirement is that i want the images that are posted inline in stories to be displayed as thumbnails in teasers in frontpage/homepage.

The story body is using fckeditor to place images inline in the stories and on the hompage the story content is displayed as teaser (trimmed content) but the image inside the story is displayed in full size (original) in the teaser.
Suppose the users place an image at the beginning of the story content in the body using fckeditor and in the teaser the image is displayed in full size.

I am not sure whether what i am expecting is right or not in this scenario. I want the inline images in the story to be displayed as thumbnails in the teasers. Is there a way for this.

I know that the thumbnails can be displayed if we use image field and imagecache etc and attach an image to the story. But i do not want this way, i want the inline images of the story to be displayed as thumbnails.

I am struggling with just the same operation.

I am just joining with you in the hope that my comment will draw an answer for us both. It loks like Teaser Images would work if I was in Drupal 5, but I am in 6.9.
