After selecting a term to apply in the Settings tab, then selecting several nodes to update, I get status messages that report the term has been applied:
* The nodes have been moved to the term.
* Performed Taxonomy: Add to vocabname->termname on nodes 72, 73, 75, 77, 83, 85, 86.
However, the nodes haven't really been updated.
The view itself shows the terms for each node, and the new term doesn't show up there. If I click through to the node page itself, the new term doesn't show up there either.
Thanks for your help!

infojunkieIt's working fine on my side. Can you please try the action called "Modify node's taxonomy terms" and let me know if it works this way?

kristi wachter commentedSure - thanks!
... So, I had to install the Actions module to test that out, right?
I installed Actions.
When I did, I got a message that Actions isn't compatible with Workflow-NG, so I disabled all my Workflow-NG related modules.
I tested the original task again (using Views Bulk Ops to add a term to a bunch of selected nodes) and it still didn't work.
I then tried using the new Modify Node's Taxonomy Terms that became available after I added the Actions module.
That DID work. I activated "Modify Node's Taxonomy Terms" on the Settings tab, then returned to the view, chose a term and selected "Add the selected terms" under "Action to Take", selected a few nodes, and clicked "Modify node's taxonomy terms."
This time, the nodes WERE updated - the terms were actually added successfully.
Is there something else I can do to help debug this?
Thanks!
Kristi

infojunkieSorry for making you jump through hoops. Here's one more thing: the original content admin screen (admin/content/node) allows you to apply taxonomy operations, independently of VBO. Does it work there?

kristi wachter commentedHoops? Don't be silly - you've contributed a terrific module here. Helping debug is the least I can do.
It DOES work on the content admin screen (although I only chose a single node to update, but I imagine it'd work for multiple as well).
Anything else I can help check, or try?
Thanks!
infojunkieI'll check what the difference is between the content admin screen and VBO. Thanks for your patience.

infojunkieCan you please replace the views_bulk_operations.module file with the one attached (taking care to correctly rename the attached file) ? I found a possible difference with the content admin screen and I'd like you to test it. Just try the taxonomy operation again in VBO and let me know the result.
Thanks!

infojunkieClosed unless anyone minds.

kristi wachter commentedI'm sorry I wasn't able to test the file you posted in January, but I did want to let you know that I was finally able to install the current version (5.x-1.4), and everything's working perfectly for me now.
Thank you so much for all your work on this great module!
