This is what I'm thinking.
Image field it's a great module with great functionality.
For video are some modules like: flashvideo, media mover, etc. but a little too much complicated for the average user.
I'm interested in a simple video cck field with the imagefield functionality. I mean no tags in content, no youtube tags, no google video tags, no list/unlist video in content, if has a uploaded video then print it.
1. upload a video
2. if ffmpeg is present create a thumbnail and convert the file to a .flv
3. print the video with jw player or other player.
{more complicated use to be available just reading a good Readme.txt and modifing the Videofield.module: thumbail setting, ffmpeg setting, etc}
I think will be a great push up drupal.
Can be done ? of course. Any developers interested in this idea ?
