categorize the data

I am trying to find a solid solution for an issue I am having.

I have been trying to figure this out using views/cck/taxonomy and I am stumped.

Problem needing a solution:

I want my users to be able to create different "bins" or areas. Inside these areas I want them to be able to create items. The bins and item would be user specific.

Example of problem:

User 1 creates a bin called "in." The bin "in" is only made for user 1. User 2 wants to make a bin called "in" and a bin called "out" no one else will have these bins created. User 2 decided to make an item in the "in" box the item in the "in" box is only listed under "in" no other bin. Now I would like the user to be able to move the item between bins and if they want or make them public to the world so the world could look at the item.

Required:

I would like each user to have the ability to create unlimited bins and unlimited items in each bin and allow the items to moved between bins.
