Is the D6 dev version safe for a production site?

Description

Generally I wouldn't ask, as one shouldn't use dev releases on production sites as a rule. But since this is the only abuse-report-and-management module I'm aware of, and this is an essential community feature, I thought I'd ask. I know that some maintainers will use the dev version indefinitely, and it looks like a lot of people are using this one. Is it reasonably safe?

There's also Flag Content (http://drupal.org/project/flag_content) and Flag (http://drupal.org/project/flag). But both aren't out of beta/dev as well.

I should have answered this question - This module is heavily used on a couple of production sites right now with no issues - that said, there is some level of customization (its very little...but it is in there) for those sites to get it working exactly the way they wanted. As a result, the module is still in dev so that any customizations that I did don't interfere with what works for others on d.o.
