I use notification and messaging (latest versions), which work fine with mime mail. Now I wanted to start mail2web for direct replies via email.

It all works fine, but the only problem is that it publishes the content form the whole email and not only above the line to comment. It publishes on the website the ((( brackets and adds to text some >> from the reply format.

Interestingly if I only reply one line or nothing then it works and does not publish the rest of the messages.

When I reply from web email account (Gmail) it publishes even nothing. The above were replies from a mail client.

Is there any way I can prevent mail2web not to publish the rest of the content, or in case of Gmail publish something at all? Does anybody else encountered this problem?

These problems should be fixed in the next release, due at the end of this week, for both 5 and 6. If it appears you're having issues with HTML emails even after the new release, please review http://drupal.org/node/348153 and post there if it appears same/similar issue.

Only from clients such as mail app, it does not seem to filter out this text:

Switch to mailcomment project. Mail2web is now known as "mailcomment" due to a trademark issue with the name mail2web.
