The major part of versioncontrol_project has been ported, but it's yet untested and has probably been crippled by Drupal 6 upgrade item 38., "Node previews and adding form fields to the node form".

As the Project module itself is in heavy porting currently, testing the functionality might be a bit harder than usually. (On the other hand, that would maybe make for a good opportunity to get project nodes of any content type supported again. I remember hunmonk stating that the Project dependency would reduce complexity and make the port easier. Well, not. Anyways.)

So, the goal is to ensure that versioncontrol_project runs fine on Drupal 6. Can't be *that* hard now, can it?

Project* is pretty much done with porting, so I was finally able to take a look. Seems to work generally, let's fix specific bugs in separate d.o issues.
