According to this article - http://cvs.drupal.org/viewcvs/drupal/contributions/modules/flexinode/REA...
It states:
"Editing Content Types - The administration pages for this module are located at: Administration -> Content Management -> Content Types Click on "add content type" to make a new one. On this page you can set the title of your new content type and some related information.
Once you save your new type, you can add new custom fields to it using the links on the overview page. Currently you can add text fields, text areas, and dropdown menus. The Title and Description fields are always shown."
I clicked on ADMINISTER / CONTENT / CONFIGURE / CONTENT TYPES. There is no "add content type" link to access the admin pages for the flexinode pages. Is that right?
I have double checked if I installed Flexinode correctly. It's enabled in the admin. The flexinode columns are in the database, etc.
I don't know if I'm doing this right.
Any help would be great. Thank you in advance.

Just to confirm
The menu path is:
Admin
-Content
--Content Type
If you don't see this are you absolutely sure you enabled the module and set the correct permissions?
Well...Yes...but
Yes...I checked this to make sure it's enabled:
Administer -> Modules (enabled)
Administer -> Access Control (enabled)
BUT according to the directions I am supposed to do this:
administration -> site configuration -> modules
Where the heck is SITE CONFIGURATION?
I don't have the SITE CONFIGURATION link - is that an older version of DRUPAL?
Any help would be great. Thank you.

Uh...
Here is whatiis said:
3) Enable the flexinode module in Drupal, at:
administration -> site configuration -> modules
which is incorrect. Nevertheless, the task to enable the module and it sounds like you have done that.
Have you made the MySQL changes?
Do you have the latest version, blah, blah, blah.
If you are absolutely sure you have made the installation as outlined here http://cvs.drupal.org/viewcvs/drupal/contributions/modules/flexinode/INS... the only other thing I could recommend is to do a reinstall.
Check you MySQL database and make sure the changes you made show up in the schema.
I had to start over
I had to start from scratch...I think there was some files missing or something...I reinstalled drupal and recreated the db and now I have the "add content type option"
Thank you for all of your responses...they have helped me out tremendously.
