Forgive my ignorance here but when i try to use a numeric field it is picking the - numbers up wrong. I have a feelign that the problem is with me and my knowledge of numeric fields. Cam amyone explain to me why my table sorts itself like this-
29.00
10.00
-10.00
-10.00
-10.00
-10.00
-3.33

Could it be adding a [red] tag in somewhere? Make the field text and not numeric?

That link doesn't show a table?
...Did you specify that the cell contains numeric data?

sorry pobster i have taken the table down till i can sort it. aye i made it a numerical cell/coloum pobster. I can get it workig ok via CCK but not Table manager. Shame as i was hoping to use this.
