hey am an amateur drupaller and am asking for help in doing the following school project:

create student id cards(these should be saved to a folder for latter centralized printing) from a pre-existing database(with student names, course,a photo field and a barcode that should be generated from the student's registration number), i've downloaded and installed the pdf-id card module and i have it working but i want to convert it's operation to get input from a database as i've explained, could someone please help.
