Use ImageCache profiles avatar in entries

i'm working on this now... icp gets confused though and shows the (assuming larger) pic since the page is under /user

Please note that Guestbook's goal is to integrate with User Display API.

if only a 6.x was ready :) I love the User Display API in principal, but it doesn't take much for icp to be able to be used instead, I just added a switch to allow site admins to stop guestbook's override of the user_picture theme function. sun, what do you think?

While waiting on Image API is there any way to control guestbook user pics with image_cache profile pictures. The images show up in full size within the guestbook and I would be fine without the images at all if this is the only option.

I just installed the march 11th 6.x-2.x-dev Guestbook. I noticed I can't see any pictures for the people who post on guestbooks. Is this normal and the problem is still being fixed, or is it already fixed and I need to adjust my settings?

2.x contains the aforementioned User Display API integration already.

Okay, so I went to download User Display API and they don't have Drupal 6 verson. They don't plan on releasing on either, they said something about having a 7 version. So how would I get images in the guestbook without User Display API, is this possible? Or just I go back to the older version of Guestbook 6.1 that did allow pictures?

i am also interessted in showing user pictures on guestbook entrys. i am using drupal 6 and the latest 2.0 dev version. No pictures are shown up.

this is very sad because there will be no user api display release for Drupal 6.

@mastermtg you could probably override the guestbook theme function that outputs each row. Is this suggestion out your league?

Yeah I think that is beyond my scope I just want a simple code like the other user said that would allow me to show a small icon for guestbook in the profiles. Anyone?
