Can you describe the steps to replicate this on a fresh install?

Same problem here.
- install views and create a page view with node type filter.
- create some content.
- install node privacy byrole and rebuild permissions
- edit content type and grant view permissions to all roles
- try to access de view...
and the view displays nothing...

I have the same problem. Views result disappears even when I had the content type permission view set for anonymous users.
I'm using arguments in Views page view.
Added: Am able to view the individual node as anonymous user.
Upgraded to major.
Thanks.

Downgraded to normal.
I missed out changing the permissions for existing products. Hope that helps for others :)

This helped me perfectly. I went to the individual nodes, edited them, changed the permissions and boom, it worked.

Error is still present in Version 1.6. After installing node privacy by roles and setting the content type's default permissions, existing content has the correct default permissions, but they are not displayed in the views. Each node has to be manually edited and saved to be shown in the views.
