Redirect link from taxonomy tag

Hi, this is a great module, well done. My request is similar to this one http://drupal.org/node/332107 which disabled the link so the tags appeared but were not active. However I was wondering if the link could be redirected to the full node: ie, I have a taxonomy term that has one entry for each term, that is one city of Chicago and a taxonomy term for Chicago, etc - rather than being directed to a taxonomy term page (which contains only one term) I would like users to go straight to the node itself. The reason for this bizarre config is initially I was using cumulus as a design element simply to display the updated tags.
