The documentation says that upgrading to Image FUpload 2.1 requires running update.php, but I'm not seeing which database upgrade version to choose. Am I missing something?

You don't have to set any additional values, just run update.php with the default values.

Even if it says "No updates available" for Image FUpload? In that case, I'm confused as to why update.php needs to be run. Sorry if I'm misunderstanding something.

you should still run update.php even if no acvailable updates is shown. update.php may do things in the background, ie: clear cache and the like.
