Hi
I am working on Drupal 6.8 version.
Can anyone suggest as which e-commerce module is better to work with Drupal 6.8?
As I can see most of the e-commerce modules are restricted to Drupal 5 version. Even ubercart has got a beta version.
Please suggest which module has better functionalities for an online store or should I install Drupal 5?
Thanks!

I have heard people mention
I have heard people mention that if you need an e-commerce Drupal site "right now" then to go with D5. However it appears development on Ubercart is proceeding rapidly, so if you have a little time, I'd suggest going with Drupal 6 and working on the rest of the site first, and Ubercart should be ready/stable by the time you need it.

People are using Ubercart's beta for 6
I think it's a relatively safe bet for starting new project on.

Ubercart on Drupal 6
As of today (Jan. 28, 2009) Ubercart for Drupal 6 is at Beta release 3. We have had people using it in production environments since late Beta 1. At this point I think the advantages of Drupal 6 out way the minor issues you may or may not have with the beta 3 release. If you can give us more details about your e-commerce goals and needs, We can tell you how likely you are to have issues.
Thanks,
Andy - Ubercart team.

1. D6 is the way to go. Paypal and most credit card processor available
2. D6 Could be a problem. You need the Ubercart marketplace module. Which is in early devel (alpha-beta) for D6.
