We would like to be able to control the order of the articles, without resorting to prepending "1." ,"2." etc before the article title. I noticed that the db structure has a weight column and the ej theming functions return an "article weight" property, and that hand modifying the ejournal_article.weight column does affect article order in theming. However, there appears to be nowhere to edit/set this value on the issue management screen in 5.x-2.0-rc3. I imagine the 6.x version uses the drag-n-drop ajax table system to edit this, but the 5.x still needs a weight column exposed to the ejournal editors. Can we please have this feature added?
Thanks again for all the work on this, romca...

romca commentedit is like waking up... when I browse some issues, i can't remember I ever saw some, I suppose this happens when you are, little bit, cough, cough overloaded ;-)))
This feature has been there since the first version, in the administer section of the issue, where you can set the article's weight. So I suppose it works for you, when you didn't reiterate the request
