Because the code that views outputs are nested divs inside list items, the pugin considers each nested div an additional slides, that's why we get additional empty slides, and the navigation acts a bit weird. I told the author of the jQuery plugin about this in his blog, and he's promised to come up with a fix soon, will post back when this has been solved

I think this didn't happen anymore anyways in in 6.x-1.x, but not completely sure.
