My view/edit tabs are visible all the time. I'm not sure how to get rid of them! Obviously they should be there for authenticated users only. I thought it was a browser caching issue, but they are visible for someone on a machine that has never previewed the site before nor logged in. IE6, IE7, FF, etc... Any advice? Thanks in advance!

try going to site performance and clearing the cache their.

Even thats an older post...

That can happens when you installed a buggy or unfinished module changing the access rights.

For example the current node gallery access module (unfinished, the author works on it)
will invoke that effect on my site too.

Node gallery was the source of my problem. I disabled Node gallery module then View and Edit tabs went away.
