In a mysql install with roughly 60 modules. Assume the GUI not available yet int 6.x, see also my report in the memcache api module.

Great, I'm glad it is working for you. I really hope to get the stats working soon. My issue is that stats work (for the most part) in memcache, but I also have to support the other engines before I feel like it is really ready.

NP; BTW, both modules can be used together by commenting out the "cache_inc" entry for the memcache api module but leaving it enabled as shown in http://drupal.org/node/365250 allows the stats from the other module to be used with this one.
