Forced node associations?

Description
I have four nodes with poems that include information about the American Revolution. However, the content / title don't automatically associate these in the related box. I can't really change the titles or text as I want to reflect the poetry that the author wrote. Is there any way to force the module to associate these nodes?

If you're going through that much trouble, you might as well just create a custom block with links to those nodes, then make it appear only on that page. Otherwise, there's no built-in way to associate specific nodes together through this module.

Yes I had thought of that, but I guess I was looking for a slicker solution, plus it would look a bit incongruous to have two similar nodes blocks. Is this something that could perhaps be added to a list of wishes for future development?
