I am actually exploring the use of Embedded Media Field for the deviantART Embed module.

Could someone point me to the documentation (or even the source I should be looking at), that would help me achieve this?

If it were only embedding the devinatART entry, then I would have contributed an 'inc' to this module. But my current plans for the module includes more than just a custom node type. Yet, if I can leverage Embedded Media Field, and provide a 'Provider' from devinatART module, I will be able to focus on other things for that module too.

I was able to figure out the basics by looking at the Embedded Image Field module and the providers (Imageshack, Photobucket).

I have documented the notes that I took in the Handbook page: Developing custom modules to add Provider plugins to Embedded Media Field.

It is pretty basic, but may serve as a starting point to expand Embedded Media Field API documentation.
