I'm sure a D5 backport is probably not high on your priority list ...

But I'm curious. If I can find someone interested in doing it (I'm not a coder), do you have any sense:

1) of whether it might be very easy or very difficult?
2) If difficult, are there any obvious "gotchas" or problems that you might know of from your experience?
