Okay, I added a "delete own tribune posts" permission, which enables users to delete their own posts. Actually it doesn't really delete them but moderates them, which means moderators will still be able to see them (grayed out) and restore them. Users can't restore their own posts.
It also works for anonymous users, as long as they keep their session cookie.
