Single-gallery images appear in multiple galleries

Description
When I go to select the images for my diaporama, I find that though the targeted gallery contains all and only its own thumbnails, other galleries have acquired thumbnails from the targeted gallery.

I should specify that this occurs during editing, when a gallery has previously been selected.
