Description

This is both a how-to and a feature request.

How-to

Method 1

Site: Node (e.g., example.net/node/111)

Browser menu: View>Page Source

Page source menu: Edit>Find "_nodenumber" (e.g., _905)

Page source: Copy entire line from "<embed src>" to "</embed>" (e.g., <embed src="http://example.net/sites/default/files/diaporamas/dewslider.swf?xml=http://example.net/sites/default/files/diaporamas/diaporama_905.xml" wmode="transparent" width="600" height="450" name="diaporama905" TYPE="application/x-shockwave-flash" PLUGINSPACE="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"></embed>)

Node text box (plain text): paste code

Method 2

Site: Node (e.g., example.net/node/111)

Browser menu: View>Page Source

Page source menu: Edit>Find "_nodenumber" (e.g., _905)

Page source: Copy entire address (e.g., http://example.net/sites/default/files/diaporamas/dewslider.swf?xml=http://example.net/sites/default/files/diaporamas/diaporama_905.xml)

Node text box editor menu: Flash icon

Flash properties, Info, URL field: Paste address

Flash properties, Info, Width and Height fields: Type width and height of source viewer (images will not scale), Okay

Feature request

The above is all fine and dandy for those of us who know some code, but most of my users would be completely intimidated by the number of unfamiliar steps. Would it be possible to generate a discreet embed field or an icon or link that people could copy the necessary code from?
