Come together with the global Drupal community in Rotterdam, 28 Sept – 1 Oct 2026. Sessions, contribution, connection, and Early Bird savings until 8 June.
MLM is undergoing a complete rewrite, as are the Send, News, and - to a lesser extent - the Mime Mail modules. It's kind of a big task.
MLM will not require these other modules ( you could use its interface for subscription handling but not posting - or you could use a different posting mechanism alltogether). However, as there are a few frameworks at play, I want to make sure they all work well together.
MLM will keep its ezmlm backend, and hopefully folks will help to add additional backends ( e.g. Mailman, Mail Chimp, etc.). It's also got a Drupal backend for lower-volume, more customizeable mailings, including sublists and token replacement.
It's all very exciting! But a lot of work! If you're someone with the time, skills and inclination to check this out of CVS, I would appreciate some help and insight. If you're willing to write additional backends, doubly so!
Otherwise, I'll roll a -dev release when it's ready for that.

neurojavi commentedI've seen recent changes in CVS, and it seems that this has been ported to drupal 6 but there's no 6.x dev release to download and test...
Any plans to do a 6.x release any time soon?
Thanks.-
PD: I'm testing the cvs head version

allie mickaThere's an alpha release! And while there's a lot of work yet, the module is now usable. Please file separate issues if you need to!
