Issue Summary
In the text field for "textactions_text2canvas to front" action, it appears that you can only use text or php code. I think it would be generally much more useful if Tokens were supported.

I also love to see this working :-)
I took a look to image_actions code to contribute with a patch but I didn't imagine where to start. :-(
Subscribing to follow better programmers finding a solution.

Token support has been added to 6--2.
However the text renderer in general has been split into its own project. Probably ready to try soon
