Taxonomy doesn't appear when there is no group-context

Or maybe I'm just confused? I installed the module. Created a vocabulary and assigned it to my 'Group 1' and allowed it on my content types, added some terms to the vocabulary. Now when I go to add content of an allowed type, I see no change. I do see the taxonomy tab on my group home page, but when I create group content, there is no taxonomy field for my group vocab. Thanks.

There is probably no 'context'. Select one of the groups and click preview - you should then see the taxonomy.
