Something to consider for a future release, being able to count paragraphs and break after a set variable? This would prevent sentances from being broken up in weird places (either in the middle of a word with character count or part way through a sentance with word count).

Sorry, I discovered that perhaps some other module I have installed was conflicting with Paging and causing it to behave incorrectly. I have a fresh install of Drupal with paging installed and it seems to be behaving as expected, with page breaks appearing after paragraph tags or line breaks, as the case may be. So it looks like this feature is already in there, just something else was mucking it up!
