Taxonomy Autocomplete functionality

I am looking for the same functionality as the taxonomy search box on the upper left corner of
demo site of this module: http://sandbox.scratchpads.eu, where, a taxonomy term can be searched by autocomplete feature and after user clicks, the resultant page is /taxonomy/term/tid, which is the default taxonomy module url.

Can tinytax module achieve this functionality or if not, what is the suggested approach ?

Spending quite a number of hours/days, tried views with exposed filters for the same problem, however, I have no luck bringing result url to the default taxonomy url /taxonomy/term/tid. With views exposed filters, always end up with ? query string, which is not desirable for my case.
