event uses 0-24h time notation (instead of am pm)

it would be nice if all time related drupal modules and drupal itself uses a site or user based timenotation.

it should be configurable on a site:
1) the admin chooses to use 0-24h for the site
2) the admin chooses 0-12 [A|P]M for the site
3) the admin lets the user choose between 1) and 2) with a default for either of them for anonymous users.

see this forum posting. should i make a drupal core request as well for this?

Check admin/system, you can select the date format there. Event module should respect this, if it doesn't it will be fixed for the Drupal 4.3 release I'm working on.
