I recently had to update a bunch of year old modules on a test site for a client. The Release notes lñink in Update status is really useful for checking gotchas before updating, but it would be that much more useful if it displayed release notes for all the versions since the installed one, in a list in descending version order.

BTW great module - what did we do without it???

thanks

Thanks for the suggestion. However:

a) This contrib module is in feature freeze -- I'm only doing bug fixes.

b) To fix this in core, you'd have to do it in D7, since D6 is also in stable bug-fix-only mode.

c) The UI for this could get really sucky if you're a lot of versions out of date. The update report is already very busy and potentially overwhelming. Separate lines for every release you're missing seems like a lot of potential noise and possibility of end-user confusion for a relatively rare edge case.

Cheers,
